Marsh
The heart wants to
but cannot speak,
if tonly has dumb gestures.
Patience melts
in the fire of temptation.
Evil, it is bad for you;
good? You don’t feel it,
it caresses you, it makes you live.
Evil smites you,
lays you low, leads you to folly.
Blow upon blow,
toil upon toil,
clenching your fists
and gazing at the sky.
Evil reveals good to you.
then you understand, and
in the mud you resume
your journey to get free from
your swamp.
